2015 Ford Edge CUV launched in separate markets

The 2015 Ford Edge, known as the Kuga in Caribbean and other markets.

Tuesday June 24 was a big day in the life of the all-new 2015 Ford Edge CUV.

That was the day the newest member of the Ford family was introduced at separate events in the U.S. and Europe.

Known as the Kuga in the Caribbean and other markets,  it has a new body design, a new suspension setup, adaptive steering and new engine choices -- in fact, the Edge/Kuga will be available with every single technology that Ford offers, and will be sold in more than 100 countries across the world.

The automaker also revealed a new technology known as adaptive steering. Ford says it will make the Edge/Kuga easier to maneuver in parking lots and more fun at high speeds.

The system is standard on the Edge/Kuga Sport and optional on the Titanium trim. The Edge/Kuga Sport also gets stiffer antiroll bars, larger dampers and thicker coil springs.

The Ford range of vehicles are available from local dealers McEnearneyQuality Inc. Wildey, St.Michael.
