Allamby wins iPad Mini in MQI competition

Zachary Allamby won the recently-held McEnearneyQuality Inc. (MQI) 12 Days of Christmas ipad giveaway competition.

Allamby received 546 votes out of a total of 1517 cast and got home by 66 votes over his nearest rival Jennie Armstrong who totalled 480.

Shakera Drakes, who poled 159, placed third.

The main aim of the competition was to raise awareness to MQI’s Facebook page and resulted in 2,995 visits, 5,746 page views and a 120 per cent increase in visitors to the website in the competition which ran from December 18 - 21.

Apart from hosts Barbados, the competition drew voters from as far away as the USA, France, Canada, the UK and Dominica and facebook advertising produced 785 clicks, 707 actions from over one million impressions.

Facebook Advertising was the only marketing tool used and entrants in the competition had to encourage their friends and family to vote for them in the competition.

A total of 14 entries were received.
