Coming soon: 2014 Kia Cerato

The 2014 Kia Cerato.

2014 Kia Cerato to be unveiled in Barbados soon.

Kia’s all-new 2014 Kia K3 compact saloon, the Forte, also called the Cerato in some markets is here.

In the first quarter of this year, the sedan started arriving in North American dealerships as the 2014 Forte and in other markets as the new Cerato, with coupe and hatchback variants to follow in due time. We still do not know if Kia has plans to sell the compact saloon model in Europe.

"Longer, lower and wider than the current car, with an extended wheelbase, the next generation Forte / Cerato will be manufactured with an all-new bodyshell structure," Kia said in a short statement.

After the release of two drawings and a batch of teaser images, Kia started a new promotional trick as it took the car to a mall in South Korea. The compact model was enclosed in a puzzle-like box, with openings to allow passers by to catch a glimpse of the new addition to the family.

Since we can't all just fly over to Korea to see the new Cerato, local agents McEnearneyQuality Inc. (MQI) has taken the waiting out of wanting and will be unveiling the car soon.
