It’s Christmas at MQI.

In the Christmas Spirit. The forecourt at Mechitaristican Inc. at Wildey, St. Michael

A glance at the forecourt says it all. Santa Clause and his elves have done an excellent job on the Mazda in keeping with the Christmas spirit.

And it gets event better on the inside and for 2017, an all-new crossover tops the list of changes coming to the Mazda family for the new model year.

The big changes are centered around the company's CX-5 crossover, a model that has become its bread-and-butter offering, since being redesigned a year earlier than most had expected, and now looking like a derivative of its predecessor, but the changes inside should carve out more space and is expected to be even more of a corner carver than before. A new variant of the Minta called the RI, splits the difference between coupes and roadsters with its removable roof section.

Additionally, the automaker's G-Vectoring Control system that works like trail braking, is now included on the Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 sedans.

Here's a more comprehensive look at what you'll find in a Mazda showroom next year:

Mazda 3

    G-Vectoring Control now included.

Revised front and rear styling, including new wheels on certain models.

Grand Touring models now exclusively available with 2.5-liter intine.

Additional sound deadening and other refinement upgrades.

Mazda 6

Full mid-cycle refresh with revised styling inside and out.

    G-Vectoring Control now included.

Infringement now standard on base model.

Premium leather trim offered on Grand Touring
