Kia Cerato Koup at Sol Rally Barbados

The Kia Cerato Koup was car Double Zero for the recently-held Sol Rally Barbados.

Cerato is Pace Car for international rally. 

Kia's eye-cathcing Cerato Koup was the center of attention as it heralded the opening the Special Stages for the recently-held Sol Rally Barbados 2015, organised by the Barbados Rally Club (BRC).

It was Pace Car Double Zero for the 25th anniversary running of the event and atttracted a cross-section of internatiopnal drivers and co-drivers from around the world to Barbados most notable among were the Finnish of Toni Gardemeister and Timo Allan in a Suzuki SX4 and former double European Simon Jean-Joseph and Jack Boyere at the wheel of a Ford Focus WRC 08. 

The Cerato was an instant with the crowds and sent a number of spectators seeking advice for future use. 

The rally was decided over 22 stages and was a keenly contested affair and won by the Jamaican pair of Jeff Panton and Mike Fennell (Jr) in a Ford Focus WRC whose winning time was 1 hr 00.59.71 seconds. 

They were ahead of another Ford Focus WRC in the hands of former double European Champion Simon Jean-Joseph and Jack Boyere whose tome was 1 hr.01.minutes 01.80 seconds. 

The English pair of Paul Bird and Aled Davis, also in a Ford Focus took third spot with a time 1 hr.01 minutes 08.33 seconds. 

A total of 92 cars face the startert of which Ford was second largest manufacturer at the annual event.
