Kia unveiling 2015 Sorento this month

The third generation Kia Sorento. The new SUV will also be shown at the upcoming Paris Motor Show in October.

The third generation Kia Sorento will be unveiled in Korea August 2014.

And insiders say the new SUV looks good. The roof line is lower, and the belt line is higher. So don’t expect to hang your arm out the window with much ease.  The overall surfacing is more massaged and sculpted than the outgoing model, with a rather deep body side leading to a prominent light-catching element.

It is a global car and will be shown at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October, ahead of UK sales in spring 2015. The most striking change is the sleeker roofline and angle of windscreen, more sophisticated body surfacing and the adoption of Kia’s latest ‘tiger snout’ nose.

The rear end is softer and more refined than previous iterations, while the vehicle’s stance is wider and more planted.

Expect engine specifications and other bits of hard statistics to come when it’s showcased in Korea at the end of August.
