MQI unveils Refreshed Brand Identity

One of the island’s oldest car dealerships in Barbados is rejuvenating their brand and ‘Driving Towards Excellence’.

MQI is working hard to achieve global customer service levels while bringing innovation and creativity to the brand, and unveiled their refreshed logo on a ‘artistic version’ of a bus shelter on the South Coast.  Head of Ansa McAL Group Marketing, Rachel Pilgrim said great brands evolve and MQI is no different, it is only right to update the brand in line with our strategy – ‘Driving Towards Excellence’.

“The refreshed brand is a proactive move to what our customers are saying. During the last year we have been listening and surveying our customers and working on the feedback they have given to improve our customer service and operations. We have made big improvements within the dealership, she noted.

Warehouse size, she said,  was doubled and the Mazda and KIA Showrooms were refreshed and water based paints introduced in the Collison and Repair workshop and we are in the process of installing state of the art tyre equipment.

“MQI has always been at the forefront of innovation, the first to implement the 5-year warranty and more recently,  the first revolving ramp on island and the addition of the wheels and seats to the bus shelter are also a symbol of improvement and getting the message of ‘Driving Towards Excellence’ across to the public,” she added.

Barney Gibbs of Adopt a Stop said: “We do not stray from the sound Bajan bus shelter design, but made an exception for this temporary art installation where the entire structure embodies the MQI logo refresh.”
