The Ford Invitational

The Ford Invitational held on June 12th, 2015 showcased a brilliant opportunity for invited executives and partners from around the island to take part in a spectacular golf tournament, and to compete for a chance to acquire a brand new Ford vehicle. Eligibility of this event required individuals to test drive some of the many Ford vehicles offered by McEnearney Quality Inc. in order to experience the handling and composition of the vehicles which would be showcased at the occasion. As expected, the turnout was substantial as approximately 60 participants arrived, eager to take on the challenge of making the difficult “hole-in-one” required to obtain a four wheel prize. After a brief welcome by Chief Executive Officer and fellow competitor, Nicholas Mouttet, the participants set out on the course to endure a long, but enjoyable day of golf.

The evening approached cautiously with both disappointment and relief showcased on the faces of each participant, as realization struck that no one had won the prized vehicles, and the competition was officially deemed the most challenging any of the competitors had ever experienced. However, Mr. Nick Lashley was not too disheartened as he emerged victorious, receiving both the 1st prize and an award for the Longest Drive for males, contributed by Trimart and Standard respectively. These presentations took place at the After-Golf Event, which was hosted by Mrs. Margaret Allman-Goddard and addressed by Mr. Alex McKenzie.
